Officers from Bolesławiec detained a man wanted by an arrest warrant. The 33-year-old had a sentence to serve for a robbery he committed in Bolesławiec. (The robber had been hiding outside the country, hoping to avoid punishment for the crime he had committed.)
The man came to Poland for a short visit. Among other things, he wanted to obtain an identity card. He did not manage to do so because he was detained by the police, and he will spend the next two years in prison.
