On 28 June, at around 11:30 a.m., police officers noticed a young man on one of Jelenia Góra’s streets who began behaving nervously when he saw them. The officers decided to check what had caused his strange behaviour.

As it turned out, the 28-year-old had amphetamine in his wallet. The man from Jelenia Góra offered the officers a bribe of PLN 190 each in exchange for abandoning their official duties. He added that, if they agreed, he would withdraw more cash from an ATM.

The man was taken into police custody. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
