On 14 June, the duty officer at the Lubin police station was informed that a woman driving an Audi was making strange manoeuvres on the road and might be intoxicated. Shortly afterwards, the Audi in question was stopped by a patrol from the prevention department of the KPP in Lubin.
It turned out that the car was being driven by a 46-year-old resident of Lubin County, who was so drunk that she was unable to get out of the vehicle on her own.
As it turned out, she was completely drunk; she had 3.5 per mille of alcohol in her system. She explained to the officers that she only wanted to pick up her grandson from the swimming pool.
The woman's driving licence was confiscated. She could now face up to two years behind bars.
