The incident occurred on Saturday at around 9:00 p.m. A man aged approximately 50 climbed onto a railway viaduct. He had been drinking alcohol. Passers-by noticed him.
The man threatened to take his own life. First, he wanted to jump from the viaduct; then he lay down on the tracks.
All emergency services were sent to the scene: police, paramedics and firefighters. However, railway workers were the first to reach the man. They spoke with him and persuaded him to come down. The police took charge of the would-be suicide victim. He was later taken to hospital for observation.
