Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, acting on the basis of operational activities, identified and arrested the perpetrator of four crimes.
The incidents took place between 28 and 30 May this year in Bolesławiec. The perpetrator broke into garage premises and stole various valuable items, including a battery, compressor, extension cord and power tools. One of the crimes was unsuccessful—the 22-year-old resident of Bolesławiec found nothing of interest in the garage he broke into.
The 22-year-old confessed and gave a statement. The officers determined where the suspect had hidden the loot and recovered the stolen property. It will be returned to its owners.
The suspect now faces up to 10 years in prison.
