The incident occurred on Friday, June 1, in Stara Oleszna (Bolesławiec municipality). The driver of a Ford, a 19-year-old from Żagań County, who was driving too fast, lost control on a bend and collided with a Volkswagen traveling correctly, driven by a 42-year-old woman.
A 26-year-old Ford passenger, a resident of Bolesławiec County, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The teenager will be held responsible for causing an accident.
