Officers from Bolesławiec and Kruszyn identified and arrested the perpetrator of a burglary. The 38-year-old resident of Bolesławiec municipality broke into an outbuilding and stole new grass-cutting equipment.
The suspect confessed to the offence he was charged with. He explained that he gave the stolen trimmer to a friend so that the friend could mow his lawn. The officers recovered property worth PLN 600.
It is worth adding that several days earlier, the 38-year-old had heard another burglary charge relating to the kitchen facilities of the Bolesławiec hospital.
The detainee now faces up to 10 years in prison.
