Bolesławiec police officers stopped a 24-year-old man on one of the streets of Bolesławiec who had got behind the wheel despite having two court-imposed driving bans.
What is more, it turned out that the car driven by the resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality had counterfeit license plates and had been stolen in Germany. (The suspect claimed that he had bought the car in Poland.)
The 24-year-old from Warta municipality could now face up to five years in prison.
