The duty officer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police received a report that an unknown man had driven a car onto the market square at Wesoła Street and thrown a bag of rubbish beside the waste containers.
The patrol sent to the scene confirmed the report—beside the yellow container intended for plastic waste, the officers found a bag containing various types of mixed rubbish. It was established that the man who left it had first looked around repeatedly to make sure nobody could see him.
The perpetrator of the offence was identified and fined. The municipal police officers:
We ask you to respond to people who litter our city and to pass such information on to our unit. This will make it easier to identify those responsible for littering and allow residents to enjoy a clean environment.
