On April 10, at around 5 a.m., the duty officer at the Lubin police station was notified that three men were damaging a parked car in the Przylesie housing estate. A patrol from the prevention division went to the scene.
After a brief pursuit, police detained three men who matched the perpetrators’ descriptions. Unfortunately, the vandals had already damaged the wing mirrors of four cars, causing losses of approximately PLN 1,000.
The perpetrators turned out to be residents of Lubin, aged 23–24. Interestingly, that same night they had received fines for consuming alcohol in a place where it was prohibited. And… they took out their anger on the parked cars.
The three now face up to five years in prison.
