A robbery theft took place on April 6 in one of the shops in Lubin. The perpetrator wanted to take alcoholic beverages and sweets. While escaping, he used physical force against a security guard: he kicked and beat him.
A police patrol was called to the scene and detained a 22-year-old man. As it turned out, the man was already known to the officers. (He had similar offenses on his record.) The young resident of Lubin was taken into police custody.
Two days later, the duty officer at the Lubin police station received a report of a robbery committed against a minor. A 25-year-old man who had stolen a phone worth PLN 1,600 was detained after a chase. The officers recovered the stolen property.
Both suspects will answer for their actions before the court. The younger of them faces up to 10 years in prison; the older one could spend as many as 12 years behind bars.
