The couple were drinking alcohol together. At one point, they began arguing. She reached for a knife and began cutting herself. The police intervened. It then turned out that their 18-month-old daughter was in the “care” of the extremely irresponsible couple.
He had almost 3‰ of alcohol in his system, and she had nearly 1.5‰. Both were taken into police custody.
The girl was placed in a care facility. (Fortunately, the child did not require hospitalization.)
The police are currently checking whether the parents created a threat to the child’s life or health. The family court will handle the case.
