Running sessions will once again be organized at 100 stadiums across Poland as part of the BiegamBoLubię initiative. Bolesławiec is among them. In our city, BiegamBoLubię will once again be led by former marathon runner and current coach of runners at MKS Bolesławia, Dariusz Łomański, and former club athlete Daniel Najdek.
– We invite everyone who would like to begin their running adventure or improve their physical fitness. The free sessions are aimed primarily at amateurs and are not typical training sessions. We are reaching out to people who want to start running but often do not have the courage to take the first step in that direction. The opening session will take place this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. at the athletics stadium on Komuny Paryskiej Street, while from next week the sessions will be held every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at the same stadium – says Dariusz Łomański.
– We also invite runners who already run recreationally. We will help them improve their running technique, strength and fitness, as these are areas often neglected by runners. We will explain how to train properly in order to use the time devoted to running effectively – says Daniel Najdek.
– Over the course of four years, many people have taken part in our sessions, and a large group of them now compete in races organized throughout Poland. Our sessions are an excellent way to spend free time actively and pleasantly in good company – adds Dariusz Łomański.
