On Monday, February 16, a serious accident occurred on national road No. 4. At around 7:30 a.m. in Parzyce (Nowogrodziec municipality), a Ford Mondeo collided with a bus. The bus driver and three people traveling in the passenger car were injured in the accident. All four were taken to hospital.
As the IstotneInformacje.pl portal learned, the 31-year-old bus driver suffered a leg injury, while the 49-year-old Ford driver sustained a chest injury. The passengers in the passenger car were the most seriously injured. The 32-year-old woman suffered a spinal injury, while the 26-year-old man is in serious condition.
The road is now passable. Traffic was blocked for 3.5 hours. Police are investigating the cause of the accident. The Ford driver probably skidded and collided with the bus, which was traveling properly.
Falling snow is making things difficult for drivers. The roads are slippery, and officers are urging motorists to drive carefully.
