The incident occurred on Tuesday evening after 8:00 p.m. Two passenger cars carrying three people collided on the road between Dobra and Bolesławiec. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that a woman was still sitting in one of the vehicles and could not get out because the collision had occurred on the side. The firefighters helped her out of the car.

Initial findings indicate that the 59-year-old resident of Dobra, who was driving a Skoda, failed to give way and hit a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who was driving correctly. The injured woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.

A breathalyzer test showed that the resident of Dobra had previously consumed alcohol.
