The incident occurred on 24 March on Zamkowa Street in Legnica. Traffic police officers noticed that one of the people involved in the collision had parked his vehicle, ignoring a no-stopping sign. The man—as if nothing had happened—left the car in a prohibited place and then walked away.
The officers called for roadside assistance. After a few minutes, the owner of the improperly parked Ford appeared at the scene. As it turned out, he was a criminal wanted by the court. The 35-year-old resident of Legnica was due to serve a two-year prison sentence.
The man was first taken into police custody and from there straight to prison.
