Zgorzelec community police officers spotted a vehicle driven by a man well known to them. They therefore stopped him for a roadside check.
It then emerged that the 35-year-old suspect had had his driving privileges revoked. Moreover, the detained man had methamphetamine in his possession.
The 35-year-old was taken to the Zgorzelec police station, where he was charged. The man could now face up to three years in prison.
