Two suspects were arrested on March 9 in an apartment in Lubin. As a result of operational work, officers established that the men—a 42-year-old father and his 21-year-old son—might be storing large quantities of narcotics there.

The detainees were completely surprised by the officers’ visit. The police seized more than 400 doses of marijuana and over 260 ecstasy tablets.

The men from Lubin were taken to police custody. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the entire case in detail, including where the detainees obtained the narcotics and the scale at which they were distributing them.

Both suspects will be held accountable for drug trafficking, while the father will additionally be charged with possessing a large quantity of narcotics. The older of the detainees was placed in temporary custody for three months. The son was placed under police supervision.

Both the father and the son could face up to 10 years in prison.
