Police officers from Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec, based on the information they gathered, identified the perpetrator of the fuel theft that occurred at the MOP (traveler service area) in Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality). The officers’ suspicions were confirmed—the 30-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County was charged.
The detainee pleaded guilty and explained that he had sold the stolen fuel.
The 30-year-old has committed numerous property crimes, including fuel thefts. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
