The suspect committed at least 27 thefts in Karpacz in January this year. His haul consisted of mirrors stolen from vehicles of various makes. The total value of the stolen property was approximately 32,000 zlotys.
Based on the information gathered in the case and an analysis of recordings from the municipal surveillance cameras, officers identified and then arrested the 24-year-old suspect in Legnica.
The man confessed. He explained that he sold the stolen mirrors to various people, including through online portals.
The vandal could now face up to five years in prison.
