Our Reader drew attention to the “perpetually full recycling bins on Dolne Młyny Street, near Biedronka.” The man told us that every time he wants to throw away, for example, plastic, there is no room in the bin.

Agnieszka Gergont, spokesperson for Bolesławiec City Hall:

Recyclable waste is collected—in accordance with the frequency specified in a City Council resolution—no less than twice a month, and from June to August no less than four times a month. So far, we have neither observed nor received reports concerning overflowing recycling bins on Dolne Młyny Street [...].

She added: “The report has been accepted. The overflowing bins will be emptied.”

What do you think? Do you also have a problem with overflowing bins? Or do you think the Reader is exaggerating? We invite you to join the discussion.
