On Monday, 5 March, shortly after a serious accident that occurred on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec, another road incident took place. A 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, driving a Mercedes, moved into the opposite lane and collided with an Audi travelling correctly, driven by a 42-year-old woman from our county.
The woman was injured and taken to hospital. Fortunately, she did not suffer any more serious injuries. The incident was classified as a collision.
It emerged, however, that the 27-year-old man had got behind the wheel despite having his driving privileges revoked. He could now face up to two years in prison. The case will be decided in court.
