A resident of Kowary was detained during a domestic intervention reported by the victim. Until then, his mother had patiently endured the beatings and humiliation inflicted on her by her son.
As police established, the woman’s ordeal had lasted several months. The 50-year-old abused alcohol, which triggered aggression in him. For no reason, he would start arguments during which he insulted and beat his own mother. He also threatened to kill her.
The aggressor was taken into police custody. It came to light that the man had also broken into one of the cellars in Kowary. (He committed this offense in January.)
The 50-year-old was remanded in custody for three months. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
