Police officers from the Department for Combating Property Crime of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters identified and then arrested a 24-year-old resident of Legnica who, at the end of January, together with two other people, damaged a Honda vehicle. The entire trio then set about destroying a bus stop.
What is more, it emerged that the 24-year-old was responsible for demolishing an Opel vehicle in December last year. On the same day, the vandal also damaged the door of one of Legnica’s commercial premises.
Through his vandalism, the arrested man caused losses of nearly PLN 5,000. The man had already been convicted of offences against property, as well as offences against life and health. Moreover, he was wanted because he had to serve a six-month prison sentence for previous offences.
He now additionally faces up to five years in prison.
