The exhibition will present approximately 80 works by both artists from the collections of the Museum of Porcelain in Wałbrzych, the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Iwona Siewierska’s Unikat Foundation, the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec, and the private collections of the artists’ families: Teresa and Anna Wolanin and Elżbieta and Monika Roguszczak. The exhibition is based on the principle of contrast, juxtaposing the soft, gentle lines of Bronisław Wolanin’s porcelain and stoneware works with Edward Roguszczak’s monumental, geometric, austere ceramic sculptures.
The “Two Paths” exhibition is organized by the Museum of Porcelain in Wałbrzych, the “Unikat” Foundation, and the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue whose creation received financial support from the Bolesławiec Artistic Handicrafts Cooperative “Ceramika Artystyczna”.
