The whole case began with a police officer from the investigative department of the Lubin police. A fence known to him pawned power tools at one of the pawnshops. As it turned out, they came from a theft.

This information was passed on to the other officers from Lubin. The suspect was known for frequently changing his place of residence. An officer from the prevention department established where the 54-year-old was currently staying.

At the location, the officers found power tools, car radios and many other items originating from thefts. The total value of the property secured exceeds PLN 10,000.

The police are still investigating the circumstances of the case, including how the 54-year-old came into possession of the stolen items. The investigation is ongoing, and the KPP does not rule out further arrests.

The 54-year-old resident of Lubin was taken into police custody. He has already been charged with handling stolen goods. He could now face up to five years in prison. Lubin police:
