The case began in January. Two injured parties filed reports with the Legnica prosecutor’s office alleging a suspected crime. It was established that in June 2017, a 29-year-old entrepreneur running a venue in Legnica signed an agreement with a DJ who installed his own music equipment, including sound and lighting systems, at the businessman’s club. After a month, the venue owner dismissed the DJ but did not return the equipment.
The man also obtained supplies from a local alcoholic beverage wholesaler. However, he failed to settle the bill, which amounted to more than PLN 17,000.
As a result of police and prosecutor’s office actions, the 29-year-old was detained, and the DJ’s equipment was secured.
The Legnica businessman is under police supervision. He could face up to eight years in prison.
