The crime took place on January 28 in Stary Węgliniec. At the time, unknown perpetrators broke into a single-family home, from which they stole, among other things, a drone with equipment, cameras, computers and surveillance cameras. The value of the loot was approximately PLN 34,000.
Police identified and detained two residents of the Węgliniec commune suspected of the crime. They are 36 and 23 years old. Both confessed.
Officers recovered some of the stolen property. The burglars now face up to 10 years in prison.
