Bolesławiec criminal investigators, while conducting operations related to the theft of a bank card, detained a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The police officers’ findings showed that the bank card had already been used several times on the night it was stolen.
The detainee confessed. He explained that he had used contactless payments with someone else’s card to pay for purchases at petrol stations and in shops. (The suspect was proven to have committed 13 account breaches and stolen more than 400 zlotys).
The resident of our county also faced additional charges of making threats and violating the sanctity of the home. In total, the 32-year-old faces 16 charges. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
