Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec police station, conducting activities related to thefts, detained a 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec municipality. Among other things, the detainee robbed his friend’s car because the friend owed him money. While searching the room occupied by the 24-year-old, the officers found items originating from two further crimes.
Ultimately, the officers proved that the detainee had committed three crimes, which took place in Bolesławiec between 20 and 29 January 2018. The suspect confessed to the alleged offences and gave an explanation.
The resident of Bolesławiec municipality has numerous offences against property on his record, in connection with which he was wanted by the District Court in Bolesławiec to serve a two-year prison sentence.
For the offences committed in January, the man faces an additional sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
The items recovered as a result of the search will be handed over to their owners.
