In mid-December, the Rudna Police Station received a report of a break-in at the premises of a company in the municipality. The perpetrators stole a welding machine, cables and power tools. The total value was more than PLN 26,000.
Officers identified and arrested the perpetrators. As it turned out, the suspects had previously worked for the company in question. Even then, they had been planning the heist—they had, among other things, made additional keys to the rooms.
Those arrested are residents of Lubin and Polkowice counties, aged between 20 and 30. All of them were charged with burglary. They now face up to 10 years in prison. (Officers recovered all the stolen items).
