This is the only vehicle meeting the criteria for an off-road vehicle manufactured in Poland. The purchase value was PLN 802,944, of which Węgliniec Municipality contributed PLN 362,297, the Headquarters of the State Fire Service PLN 220,647, the District Office PLN 100,000, the Wrocław Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management PLN 80,000, and the Marshal's Office PLN 40,000. The following also contributed to the equipment and fittings: Węgliniec Forest District, Ruszów Forest District, Pieńsk Forest District, Węgliniec Municipality and the Polish Hunting Association.
The ceremony was attended by: Mayor of Węgliniec Municipality and Town Stanisław Mikołajczyk, deputy Lower Silesian State Fire Service commander in Wrocław, Senior Brigadier Marek Kamiński, Zgorzelec County head Urszula Ciupak, deputy county head Mariusz Wieczorek, representatives of the District State Fire Service Headquarters in Zgorzelec, headed by commander Brigadier Wiesław Wypych, State Fire Service commander in Bolesławiec, Senior Brigadier Grzegorz Kocon, the trade-union authorities of Zgorzelec County's Volunteer Fire Service Association represented by firefighter Kazimierz Słabicki and Jan Kolbuch, as well as councillors of the Węgliniec Municipal Council and MGOK director in Węgliniec Bogdan Walczak. Firefighters from OSP units in our municipality—Węgliniec, Ruszów and Jagodzin—and from friendly OSP units in Pieńsk, Studniska, Dłużyna and Bielawa Górna also attended, as did firefighters from Germany and the Czech Republic.
The new vehicle is equipped with a fire pump and equipment necessary for extinguishing fires, dealing with natural disasters and helping victims of road accidents. Details are available on the Węgliniec Municipality website.
