Jelenia Góra police officers detained a 38-year-old man suspected of stealing and killing a cow with particular cruelty. The crime took place on December 9 in one of the towns near Jelenia Góra.
As officers established, the man not only stole and cruelly killed one heifer, but also mutilated two others. The owner estimated the losses at approximately PLN 5,000. (Officers found some of the meat in the 38-year-old's car.)
The police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the incident in detail. The 38-year-old resident of a town near Jelenia Góra could face up to five years in prison.
