The duty officer at the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters received a telephone report about a drunk driver. The caller reported that the car traveling ahead of him was driving across the entire width of the road. Therefore, when the suspected driver pulled into a parking area, the alert resident of Iwiny blocked his car and took away his keys.
The suspicions of the resident of Warta Municipality were confirmed. The 39-year-old resident of the Pomeranian Voivodeship had 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The 39-year-old from Pomerania was detained. He now faces up to two years in prison.
