On December 3, at around 1:30 a.m., the emergency medical service informed the duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica that a severely beaten man had been taken to hospital, where he suffered cardiac arrest. Several hours later, the victim died in hospital.
Officers from the Legnica police headquarters detained five people who may be connected with the incident: four men aged between 18 and 25 and a 22-year-old woman.
The police and the prosecutor’s office are clarifying all the circumstances of the incident. The five detainees could face up to 10 years in prison.
