The fire broke out on Saturday, November 25, in the evening, in Nowa Wieś (Nowogrodziec gmina). As we read on the website of the volunteer firefighters from OSP KSRG Czerna:
Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that the entire roof structure of an abandoned building was on fire. We immediately deployed two water streams to protect the utility building, which was connected to the residential section. After additional units arrived, a third firefighting line was also set up, which helped extinguish the fire.
In addition to the firefighters from Czerna, the operation involved firefighters from Nowogrodziec, Zebrzydowa and Bolesławiec (2 crews), as well as the police.
