The incident occurred on Monday, 27 November, at approximately kilometre 38 of the A4 motorway towards Wrocław, at the level of Osieczów. The driver of a Volkswagen Passat, a 32-year-old German national, rear-ended an Alfa Romeo driven by a 32-year-old resident of Wałbrzych. The vehicles first bounced off one barrier and then the other. They ended up on the emergency lane.
Both drivers sustained only minor injuries. The German driver received a PLN 500 fine.
