Legnica police dispatchers received information that a group of people was damaging parked vehicles on one of the city's streets. At the scene, officers noticed a boy matching the description. When they checked him in police databases, it emerged that the 16-year-old was wanted. The court had issued an order to take the minor to a Youth Educational Centre.
At the time of his arrest, the young man was drunk (more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air) and very aggressive. The vandal, who damaged the paintwork of a Rover vehicle, causing losses of PLN 700, was first taken to a sobering-up centre.
The next day, the youth was brought to the KMP, where he was charged with damaging property. The angry young man will now answer for his actions before a court.
