The incident occurred on Friday, November 17. A fire broke out in an apartment on Kaszubska Street in Bolesławiec. It turned out that a pot had caught fire.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and evacuated an elderly man who had suffered smoke inhalation. The injured man was cared for by an emergency medical team.
Three fire service units took part in the operation.
