On Wednesday, November 8, police officers stopped a Mercedes for a traffic check. The vehicle was driven by a 54-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County. It turned out that the man was transporting 20 kilograms of tobacco without Polish excise stamps in the trunk.

Initially, the losses to the State Treasury were estimated at nearly PLN 16,000. Police are clarifying the details of the case, including where the illegal goods came from and to whom they were supposed to be delivered.

The 54-year-old will answer for his actions in court.
