On November 3, officers from the Department for Combating Crimes Against Life and Health of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica received information that drugs might be located in one of the apartments in the city. The police immediately went to the indicated address.

Upon entering the apartment of the 30-year-old Legnica resident, the detectives immediately smelled the characteristic odor of cannabis. In one of the rooms, they found two plastic containers and four glass jars containing dried plant material from which nearly 300 portions of marijuana could have been produced. The 30-year-old was arrested and taken to the Municipal Police Headquarters.

The 30-year-old told the officers that he had grown the marijuana at home for his own use. The man could now face up to 10 years in prison.
