This ceremony is always a moving moment – not only for the jubilaries, but also for the family members accompanying them, as well as the Municipality authorities, councillors and village heads. And it is a beautiful story – Stanisława Stanisława and Adolf Różniccy met at a dance party in the community hall in Bożejowice. Their acquaintance led to a civil wedding on 21 January 1967, followed a day later by a church wedding.
The Różniccy couple are parents to two children (a daughter and a son) and grandparents to five grandchildren – one girl and four boys. It is worth emphasising that the spouses are still professionally active, and they also share common passions, such as reading books.
The medals were presented to the jubilaries by the head of Bolesławiec Municipality, Andrzej Dutkowski, and the chairman of the Municipality Council, Bogusław Uziej, whose neighbours the Różniccy couple are. There was also a rendition of “Sto lat” and congratulations from the municipality authorities and councillors. On the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary, the head of the Municipality also presented the couple with a congratulatory letter.
