Have you been drinking? Are you unsure whether you can already get behind the wheel? In Lubusz Voivodeship, you can visit one of the police units and, without providing any personal details, check how much alcohol you have in your breath.

The idea has proven successful, including at the District Police Headquarters in Żagań, where the device installed in the main lobby is positively besieged on days off work.

Will it also be possible to use such a breathalyser at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec? Both local-government officials (Mayor Piotr Roman and Deputy County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak), as well as police officers, are receptive to the idea. Bolesławiec police are to take steps to obtain funding for this purpose. (The device costs approximately PLN 1,500.)

What do you think? Would a free, publicly accessible breathalyser be useful? We invite you to join the discussion.
