Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lubin regularly visit schools in our district to teach children how to move safely on the road as part of the “Safety fascinates me... throughout the entire school year” campaign. This time, the policewomen from the Social Prevention Team and officers from the District Constables’ Unit were accompanied by an unusual uniformed officer. He was huge and furry, and had paws instead of hands.

“Commissioner Leo is undoubtedly a great attraction for the youngest children, and the presentation conducted with his participation is always full of laughter and fun,” say the Lubin police officers.

After the presentation, the officers from the Social Prevention Team went with the preschoolers to a nearby intersection, where they reinforced the knowledge the children had gained during the activities. As we know, children remember the most information through practical activities and play.
