Children from Miejskie Przedszkole Publiczne nr 4 today encouraged Bolesławiec residents to take part in the “Our City Breathes” campaign. The preschoolers marched through Bolesławiec Market Square with green and black balloons. The black ones were meant to symbolize the fact that some residents of the City of Ceramics still burn waste in their stoves.
– In connection with the start of the heating season, let us pay particular attention to the quality of the air we breathe. Low emissions and smog are phenomena that unfortunately do not spare Bolesławiec. Therefore, never burn waste! Do not put yourself and your loved ones at risk. Together we create the climate – say the organizers of the “Our City Breathes” campaign.
They add: – 14 October 2017 (Saturday) from 12:00 we invite you to take part in the “Our City Breathes” campaign. As part of the campaign, at the city park on Tyrankiewiczów Street, you can exchange waste paper, plastic bottles, used batteries or small electronic equipment for a young tree (noble dwarf varieties) and plant it in your garden in Bolesławiec.
