Dariusz Kwaśniewski, a Polish language teacher and official, a longtime member of the Bolesławiec County Board and later the governor of Bolesławiec County, has died. He lost his battle with a serious illness. (When the illness made it impossible for him to perform his duties as governor, he resigned from the position. However, he remained a Bolesławiec County Council member).
He died this morning at a hospital in Wrocław. He was 53.
