On Sunday, 24 September, Border Guard officers stopped a Volkswagen Passat with Polish registration plates for inspection. The driver, a 42-year-old Bulgarian citizen, presented a Ukrainian driving licence for inspection. It immediately aroused the officers’ suspicions.
A detailed analysis of the document confirmed that the driving licence in question had been forged based on the original document.
The detained Bulgarian citizen admitted his guilt. He received an PLN 800 fine and a PLN 200 ticket for not having a driving licence.
