The incident occurred during the night of 23–24 September. At around 4:10 a.m., a municipal monitoring operator noticed a man walking along Gdańska Street. At one point, the man being observed decided to take on a car mirror. He managed to tear it off. But that was not enough for him. The man continued walking, kicking other cars parked along the street.
The operator gave the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters a description of the night-time “strongman.” The perpetrator was apprehended by police at the intersection of Gdańska and Garncarska streets. Officers from the District Police Headquarters are carrying out further proceedings in the case. The vandal could face up to five years in prison.
