– You cannot talk about Turów's history without mentioning the history of boxing. At one time, boxing was a religion for the oldest fans, and boxers from Turów performed excellently on the national and European stages. Our trainees also ranked among the top boxers of the year. Such successes must not be forgotten – say representatives of Turów.
They add: – That is why PGE Turów Zgorzelec is not turning its back on its history and this season is focusing on reviving boxing through training sessions for the youngest children.
Training will begin in October and will take place twice a week (Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m.) at PGE Turów Arena under the supervision of Mariusz Karpiński. The popular Karpiu is 37 years old and has been training for 21 years. He was associated with the Zgorzelec boxing club and has also won the Polish Championship title in Thai boxing. Now he will share his passion with the youngest residents of our county.
