On Friday, June 2, the KAPEO Rocky Boxing Night gala took place in Żukowo, featuring a soldier from the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów Denis Mądry. Before the fight, the armored soldier gave an interview to Lt. Agnieszka Januszewska from the same unit, in which he said:
My coach always says: “Slowly and steadily, one small spoonful at a time, toward the goal.” I fully agree with him. At this moment, I am focused on the fight for the Polish professional championship, which will take place on June 2. I want to approach the fight as the best version of myself and show what I am capable of.
How did our soldier do? As the polsatsport.pl website reports:
Mateusz Polski (4-0, 3 KO) defeated Denis Mądry (7-8, 2 KO) by unanimous decision (99:91, 97:93, 98:92) and won the Polish super-lightweight championship belt.
